Suzette Puski

Project Manager

Photo of Suzette

As a water engineering project manager with experience in power and air pollution control, Suzette completes project technical aspects and acts as a liaison between technical disciplines. Her goal? To ensure that the design meets the customer’s requirements for safety, performance, reliability, and budget. She prioritizes developing a design basis that reflects a customer’s operating requirements and delivers high system reliability, ease of operation, and low maintenance.

Suzette excels at working on retrofit projects because she considers impacts and input from multiple resources across engineering disciplines and industries. For example, when Suzette was brought in to support a wastewater treatment project that would help a utility meet EPA effluent limitation guidelines, she used her utility background to review multiple treatment technology options. She questioned one of the options where wastewater byproduct was mixed in with the unit’s fly ash, and it turned out this option negatively impacted the marketability of the ash. A redesign was implemented in the preliminary engineering phase.

Outside of work, you might find Suzette dancing Argentine tango or kite flying at Brenton Point. Besides dancing and taking in the ocean, Suzette enjoys bicycling, kayaking, and attending theatre.
