After graduating from Stevens Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineer, Tara worked in the construction industry as a project manager for a few years before joining us as a civil designer.
As a member of our Transportation group, Tara has enjoyed getting to work on a variety of very challenging and rewarding projects. A number of these have included upgrades to New York City Subway stations, which often focused on essential accessibility upgrades, providing safe and equitable access for the NYC communities that heavily rely on the public transit system. She is a firm believer that you need to see people using the system, their path of travel, and if anything is lacking in the current built environment, to determine if your design is providing what people need and improving their quality of life.
In her free time, Tara enjoys keeping active hiking, running, and strength training.
