With a focus on large-scale water infrastructure and flood risk management projects, Jonathan is a chartered engineer and a Fellow of Engineers Ireland with over 20 years of consultancy experience. As the team lead for Stantec Ireland’s Flooding and River Engineering team, he enjoys leading talented multidisciplinary teams in the delivery of economically and environmentally sustainable solutions to complex technical challenges.
Jonathan’s background includes undertaking feasibility studies, options appraisal and costing, scheme development and design, and public and stakeholder engagement. He’s delivered numerous large schemes through the planning process, contract documentation preparation, tender process, construction, and handover stages. He has also coordinated hydrological and environmental assessments and hydraulic modeling for various water services projects nationwide. Together, this experience has provided him with a comprehensive approach and leadership in creating engineering solutions across the water services portfolio.
