As the global program director in natural resource valuation and our COVID Environmental Quality Services programs, Tim works with clients to address a wide range of environmental health and natural resource valuation challenges relating to environmental liability and sustainability issues and goals. He has more than 30 years of experience performing natural resource damage assessments (NRDA), determining remedial and damage compensation options, and completing compensatory mitigation strategies for all types of commercial, industrial, and resource extractive developments in freshwater, marine, and upland environments. In this work, he uses a range of tools including the Quantitative Mitigation Analysis (QMA) tool he developed.
Tim has a passion for helping clients navigate the science and economics of equitable mitigation and restoration strategies to reduce infectious agent risks in buildings and campuses. His work compensates for natural resources lost due to past incidents or future developments, and he works to enhance natural capital as part of his clients’ sustainability initiatives.
Currently, Tim is leveraging the right mix of environmental, building, and health and safety professionals in Stantec’s COVID Environmental Quality Services program to address COVID risk mitigation issues and facilitate global re-entry into buildings and campuses. The goal? Bringing normalcy back to daily life.
Outside of the office, Tim enjoys skiing, scuba diving, and spending quality time with his family.
