After 20 years in transportation engineering, David says that the best part of his job is that feeling of pride you get at a ribbon cutting. With 18 years of aviation-specific design, David has supported a number of New England airport projects from the early stages of design through construction and project close-out.
David has expertise in design and construction administration for both small- and large-scale airfield improvement projects. For example, at the Lawrence Municipal Airport, David and his team are helping to upgrade an existing runway and construct new runway safety areas—bringing the main runway at Lawrence Municipal Airport in line with FAA regulations while also repairing pavement and protecting the environment.
He believes that new professionals should always gain as much experience as they can in design and field work. “Don’t be afraid to make a decision. The worst decision is one that is never made.” When he’s not at work, David might be golfing, snowboarding, or spending some time with his family.
