Growing up in the Ottawa Valley, James developed an interest in engineering at an early age. His father, who worked on hydroelectric dams as an electrical engineer, inspired James to develop his passion of solving complex and interesting problems. This is exactly what he has been doing in the consulting industry over the last 17 years, where he plays an active role managing wastewater infrastructure projects for municipal clients.
James specializes in wastewater collection systems, sanitary and stormwater pumping stations, and odor and corrosion treatment. His projects include preliminary design, detailed design and contract administration of a number municipal sanitary pump stations, stormwater pump stations, combined sewage collection system regulators, odour and corrosion treatment systems, and combined sewage overflow tanks.
When James is not busy solving engineering problems, he is with his family cheering his kids on at their sports games.
