Alina Ritz

Lighting Designer

Photo of Alina

Working with our team in Denver, Alina is a lighting designer trained in the craft of museum and exhibition design. With experience planning, designing, and managing museum projects at a variety of scales, and a background in anthropology, she approaches her work with a holistic lens.

For Alina, the most interesting aspect of lighting design is the ability to manipulate light—a medium that you can see but not touch. She’s fascinated by the artistic possibilities of lighting design and the scientific principles that underpin it and understands that successful lighting design evokes powerful emotional responses in patrons. In her position, Alina’s primary role is to support the design team in developing, analyzing, and documenting the project design.

Outside of work, Alina can be found skiing on the Keystone, going for a run, and unwinding watching her favorite shows.
