With nearly two decades of experience in building services consultancy, Gareth is an Incorporated Engineer who has spent the past five years specializing in data center development. He leads electrical and multidisciplinary mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) design throughout the project life cycle, from early concepts to construction and commissioning.
As an MEP lead, Gareth believes successful projects start with bringing the right people together, setting a clear direction, and creating an environment where teams can collaborate and perform at their best. His experience includes major data center developments in London, Paris, Frankfurt, Geneva and Munich, from complex expansions of live sites to large-scale new-build campuses. He’s also been an active member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology for 10 years.
When he isn’t leading MEP projects, Gareth enjoys golf, running, and badminton. He also volunteers with children’s groups, helping young people develop confidence, develop new skills, and learn teamwork, through sport.
