Dedicated to making it easier for our project management teams to execute projects exceptionally, David leads our Project Delivery office team. Over the course of his career, his work has spanned some of Canada’s largest proposed projects, including the AltaLink portfolio of power transmission projects, the Northern Gateway Pipeline, and the Energy East Pipeline, among others.
In 2017, our executive decided to transform how Stantec plans and manages projects. David was tapped to lead the transition in the project management domain, which required both short- and long-term process and tools redesign. This change has exemplified his ability to focus on the long game and persevere. David’s leadership focuses on maximizing the impact of his team’s talent for the benefit of our project management community. The result has consistently proven to be a team of highly engaged, productive, and motivated professionals.
David is a family man with a love for outdoor work. His hobby farm in rural Ottawa is a nature lover’s dream with a variety of wetland habitat, tree and wildlife species, forest trails, and even a sugar maple patch under which an acre of trilliums bloom each spring.
