Leo has over a decade of research and industry experience under his belt, specializing in contaminated land management. He typically focuses on early works, identifying environmental risks and developing soil and ground water remediation plans.
A senior environmental scientist, Leo has successfully delivered projects of varying scale and complexity for developers, private landowners, and local and state government clients. His experience spans contract management, engagement, site investigation and remediation design. As a licensed asbestos assessor, he’s a go to specialist across all aspects of asbestos management and field operations.
Leo thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys tackling intricate, challenging projects, like a former fuel depot in Queensland. For that project, he developed a model to understand the complex subsurface conditions at the site. By integrating geology, hydrology, and contamination data, he helped support the development of a well-informed and effective remediation strategy.
When time allows, Leo likes to keep fit and is a keen runner, with an eye to taking on major triathlons in the near future.
