Ori brings a passion for innovation and mentorship to his role in the energy sector. Apart from designing protection, control, and physical substation installations, he manages a small team of substation and distribution engineers and leads weekly mentoring workshops for junior engineers. He’s also designed comprehensive training programs on energy and substation engineering for non-substation engineers to help improve cross-disciplinary communication.
When he isn’t mentoring others, Ori works on renewable energy projects. One of his most rewarding projects involved working on the High Lonesome Wind Farm. He helped transform a depleted oil field into a massive wind energy facility powering thousands of homes. His work on this project represents his commitment to sustainable solutions and creative problem-solving.
Away from his engineering and mentorship work, Ori enjoys bouldering and playing board games.
