Emily is the director of our India operations and regional leader for China and Taiwan. She’s responsible for oversight of more than 1,200 employees in the Asia region working across all of our business operating units and functional services teams.
As a leader, Emily focuses on getting the right people into the right roles—empowering teams and individuals to take their careers to new heights. With a fast-growing team in Pune, India, recruiting, and retention are top priorities alongside maintaining a fun and easy-going, yet highly motivated, office culture. Emily works with the local leadership team to help staff get the opportunities and experience they’re interested in, while still achieving their own unique balance of work and play.
Using her connections from across Stantec and her operational knowledge of the Company, Emily works to build cross-regional relationships and promote our integrated global working (IGW) model. Our delivery centers in Pune and Manila are poised for significant growth in the coming years as IGW continues to gain importance as a cornerstone of Stantec’s operating strategy.
