Don is a senior technologist responsible for project management and construction administration and coordination in the water, wastewater, civil, and environmental disciplines. Throughout a variety of projects, he prepares reports and communicates with contractors and suppliers on behalf of his clients.
As an inspector, Don helps projects reach their full QA/QC potential and saves time and effort having to redo work in the future. He notes it is important that QA/QC for a project maximizes a client’s return on investment. For someone starting out in the water-wastewater industry, Don recommends paying attention to others around you. He has found that experienced operators, tradesmen, technologists, and engineers are a person’s best teachers for learning how to solve problems in the field.
Don enjoys spending time outdoors. For times of solitude and quiet, he enjoys gardening with his dogs and enjoying the sunshine. Family time usually involves wake surfing, fishing, golfing, and snowmobiling the backcountry for fun.
