Marie-Maude Roy
Associate, Senior Architectural Technologist
A senior architectural technologist, Marie-Maude has more than 20 years of experience in structural steel fabrication drawings and architecture. During that time, she was a building information modeling (BIM) manager for more than a decade. Having worked in Quebec, Alberta, and now Nova Scotia, she brings a strong foundation in structural technology and cross-discipline teamwork.
Since joining Stantec in 2017, Marie-Maude has led Revit training and helped grow BIM capabilities across Atlantic Canada, with a focus on consistent drafting standards and templates. She’s supported healthcare, senior housing, education, industrial, and commercial projects through all phases—from design and documentation to interiors and construction administration. Fluent in French and English, she enjoys applying her BIM expertise and structural insight to deliver clear, buildable solutions.
Outside work, she makes all-natural soap and loves going on road trips to find new places and great food.
