Francis’s job is to protect our water. As a principal with the Water team in Calgary, Francis leads a team of professionals on water related projects across southern Alberta, and beyond. Alongside his team, he delivers projects that protect our most valuable resource.
From business development, to project management, and technical design support, he enjoys the variety his role brings, but values the relationships with his clients and team the most. For Francis, open and honest discussions are the keys to build enduring relationships. They foster collaboration and make it easier to find solutions for issues that arise on projects. Challenges on his projects include water body crossings, large diameter piping, congested urban environments, landfill crossings, and tunneling, that require creative solutions to minimize impacts on the communities.
When he’s not working, Francis enjoys the water he protects—getting outdoors to fly fish any chance he gets.
