Passionate about creating solutions and helping clients achieve decarbonization targets, Babak has focused his career on carbon capture technologies and processes. His current role involves technology selection and conceptual studies through to detailed engineering for pre- and post-combustion sources. Utilizing his master’s degree in process engineering, he enjoys the challenge of optimizing carbon capture efficiency, decreasing costs, and progressing the process to net zero on power supply.
Babak can apply his carbon capture expertise to a range of industries including refining, gas processing, and power generation. He has a strong process knowledge of blue hydrogen, catalytic units, natural gas liquids (NGL) and liquified petroleum gas (LPG) processing, and the organic Rankine cycles.
A love of problem solving doesn’t stop at Babak’s professional life. Outside of work, he unwinds with a challenging puzzle or staying active on the tennis courts or at the gym.
