David specializes in the design of gates, intakes, and outlet works for dams, hydropower, and pumped storage projects across New Zealand, the Pacific, and beyond. He also helps lead business development for our Hydropower and Dams team, connecting clients with solutions that support resilient water and renewable energy infrastructure.
As part of our global hydromechanical engineering community, David works with colleagues across the world. Known for his expertise in 3D modeling, he serves as our Asia-Pacific Autodesk inventor application lead and enjoys turning complex concepts into detailed designs that can be built in the real world.
Outside work, you’ll usually find David working on his latest DIY project, at CrossFit, or spending time with his young family.
