As a project engineer, Victor dives into process engineering, water and wastewater treatment system design, regulatory compliance, and community planning. He has a passion for source water quality monitoring and treatment, taste and odor treatment, and process optimization.
Victor is also a project technical lead and mentors junior staff, both of which align with his passion for motivating and guiding people. He has presented at regional and national conferences and societies on the topics of teamwork and emotional intelligence for successful project outcomes and a happy workforce. Whether in the professional water community or his local community, you can usually find Victor involved in planning fundraisers, networking events, and supporting the next generation of engineers and scientists.
When he’s not volunteering, Victor is likely cooking something delicious. On the weekends he enjoys biking around town or hiking in mountain trails, and he recently got into paddle boarding.
