Jason has built his career on the design and delivery of major projects across the globe with an emphasis on mixed-use retail densification projects. He’s partnered with our Austin team to mitigate extreme site and solar conditions at the Austin Oaks Rezoning project, and he’s explored transit-oriented developments and extreme densification at the Oakridge Redevelopment in Vancouver. Prior to joining Stantec, Jason worked on iconic projects such as the New York Times tower in Manhattan and the Shard in London.
As architectural business center discipline lead for British Columbia, Jason oversees our project documentation and delivery methodology, making sure that our teams comply with internal and external quality guidelines. He also created the Design Hive, an internal design charrette that helps our staff engage with expert speakers as well as issues facing the local community.
A relocated Vancouverite, Jason takes advantage of the outdoors as often as he can. He climbs, kayaks, hikes, and—occasionally—dares to ski.
