Being the regional leader for the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) means leading more than 600 staff across offices in Toronto, Markham, Mississauga, Whitby, and Barrie, and David has chosen to lead this large community by example.
Before becoming regional leader, David co-led the GTA’s Community Development team, which provides urban planning, civil engineering, and landscape architecture services. He is a professional civil engineer and urban planner, and holds a MBA in Real Property Development from the Schulich School of Business. David thrives when he can work at a fast pace and is passionate about carrying out an ultra-focused approach to help clients achieve their goals.
As a current board director for both Habitat for Humanity GTA and Canada, David helps mobilize volunteers and community partners to provide affordable housing and promote home ownership to break the cycle of poverty –he believes in the Habitat value of giving people a hand up, not a handout.
