Known for her ability to explain the technical requirements of the building code in plain language, Dana aims to answer clients’ questions before they ask them. She’s experienced in applying building codes, developing alternative solutions, and resolving complex fire protection issues.
Dana has a deep respect for how quickly a fire can grow and spread. Her childhood fear of building fires has evolved into a technical fascination with the science of fire behavior and its impact on building safety. For nearly three decades, she’s used this understanding to offer our clients design solutions that fulfill their visions while prioritizing fire protection.
When she isn’t applying the building and fire codes, Dana escapes into the Canadian wilderness to make memories with her family. Hiking, biking, camping, canoeing, and swimming are her favorite activities.
