Where innovation and technology meet is where Paul finds the most satisfaction in his work. Whether designing for underground or surface mines, he takes time to understand site operations so his design solutions optimize a mine’s capacity while being financially feasible. He’s worked on mines as project manager and operations support and helped lead mine design, feasibility studies, and design for mine infrastructure systems.
Paul uses his on-site experience on projects such as Goldstrike Open Pit, Cortez Underground, and Turquoise Ridge to deliver practical solutions with consideration for environmental and community impacts. He’s currently involved in the management and execution of several large-scale underground mine projects, which require effective collaboration at all phases to support his core values of quality, health, and safety.
On the weekends, don’t be surprised if you find Paul out fishing, four-wheeling, or camping—enjoying the great outdoors.
