Rachel’s experience spans design, construction, and operation and maintenance for wastewater and water treatment facilities. Analytical by nature, she dives into data for planning studies and design drawings. She performs calculations and develops technical memorandums and design reports.
In her role, Rachel provides project management support to a wide variety of efforts. This includes project setup, managing subconsultants, and coordinating project disciplines. Not every project is glamorous, but the beauty’s in the results. Rachel often reflects on an unforgettable year of learning, collaboration, and, yes, plenty of sludge, during her time working on-site at the Sand Island Wastewater Treatment Plant in Honolulu. There, she operated an aerobic granular sludge pilot.
When she isn’t working water wonders or traveling for a project, Rachel enjoys being outside with her dog and family, whether it’s skiing or hiking in the beautiful Colorado mountains.
