Landscape architecture is about providing places that support healthy communities and a sustainable planet. Melanie does this by designing with people in mind, creating spaces that cater to their unique users while also considering the wider environment and sustainability objectives. A registered landscape architect, she provides design and documentation on projects from inception and concept design through to construction and maintenance.
With experience in all elements of landscape architecture, no two projects are the same for Melanie. A stand-out project was Tullimar Estate, a residential subdivision that she worked on from start to finish. It included master planning to create distinct character, wayfinding, and environmental considerations, resulting in two connected open spaces with activities for all ages and abilities.
When not at work, you’ll find Melanie spending time with friends and family, walking the beach with her two kelpies, and travelling whenever she can.
