As a principal transport planner with nearly 10 years of experience in public and private sectors, Dave has been involved with highway development management and transport planning processes. He has experience in the creation of project concepts and business cases, appraising development against local and national policy and standards, and delivery of funding applications.
Dave has led funding applications for the Levelling Up Fund, Active Travel Fund, and Towns Fund. He has provided strategy documents for local authority clients such as the Cheddar Accessibility Strategy and Gloucestershire County Council’s Interchange Strategy, both of which support a step change in travel behaviour. He has also worked on strategic outline businesses cases for investment in active travel improvements.
Outside of work, Dave enjoys playing football, mountain biking, and volunteering as a motorsport marshal.
