Jeffrey is a senior real estate professional with extensive experience both in the public and private sectors. In his 40+ year career, he’s overseen the creation of master planned communities, negotiated and structured public/private partnerships, and led the development and redevelopment of numerous properties.
Most recently, he’s served as the Assistant Secretary of Transportation for Real Estate for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. There he was involved in the development of the state’s portfolio of landmark projects, transit-oriented development, and air rights development. He was also engaged in the development of surplus property on and over highways, subways, commuter rail stations, and other transit facilities. Prior to this role, Jeffrey was the Director of the Massachusetts Recovery and Reinvestment Office and Director of Infrastructure Investment for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, where he oversaw the $7.4 billion implementation of the federal stimulus program.
Before his work for the state, he headed up Actus Lend Lease, now called Lendlease Communities, overseeing the private development of over 40,000 homes for military families across the US. In addition, he owned his own real estate development firm, and led the redevelopment of closed military bases both in the United States and Bermuda.
