Based in Warrington, Charlotte is a chartered engineer and fellow of the Institute of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) and technical director with more than 19 years of consultancy experience in the water industry. Her primary focus is on using her technical expertise in carbon and energy management, wastewater and bioresources treatment design and optimisation to promote circular economy thinking. Charlotte’s primary goal is to challenge project outcomes to consider all aspects of the water cycle and benefit the catchment.
Charlotte is co-lead on the Stantec system thinking initiative and has developed frameworks, methods, and risk assessment approaches in this area. She is initiative lead of the operational efficiency services initiative with responsibility for the delivery of technical project solutions and driving further development of the Stantec Virtual Works optimisation suite of tools, with TOTEX, resource recovery, optimisation and holistic evaluation at their core.
Charlotte has provided process engineering support to projects from the concept stage, feasibility, and design through to commissioning and troubleshooting post-commissioning.
