Nalon leads the landscape architecture team for British Columbia with over 16 years of experience and a diverse background in outdoor recreation planning and landscape architecture. His projects have included hospitals, secondary schools, post-secondary education, industrial, waterfront parks, and active transportation multiuse greenways.
However, his passion is in parks, trails, and recreation planning projects. He’s led numerous parks and recreation master plans and related landscape architecture design projects throughout BC and across North America. Currently, he’s working on the University of Alberta’s Recreation South Campus land use planning review and recreation needs assessment. His goal? To help plan the future of outdoor recreation facilities on the campus.
His other professional interests include landscape photography, stream restoration, urban biodiversity, and alternative transportation networks.
