As a project manager and safety engineering specialist, Raj looks after manufacturing, industrial and municipal client needs to achieve compliance to provincial regulations. He also makes sure employees at his client’s facilities return home safely to their families by ensuring the equipment they work on are safe to operate.
Raj is responsible for providing training to diverse clients on safe industrial practices and conducting safety reviews on machine guarding audits, control systems, risk assessments, and hazardous area classifications that involve risk of fire and explosion. He speaks and presents technical papers at various safety conferences across North America and provides courses to our potential clients as an instructor at EPIC college of advanced learning. To top it off, Raj also participates in the development of Canadian Standards Association (CSA) and International Standards Organization (ISO) standards by sitting on various committees.
In his spare time, Raj enjoys long strolls with his buddy, Zeus (an Australian-poodle mix), and spending time with his family biking and playing badminton.
