Brittany is a problem-solver. As the Stormwater team lead, Brittany and her team deliver stormwater management models, designs, and reports for greenfield and redevelopment projects. As the co-chair of Stantec’s BLK (Black) employee resource group, she is dedicated to driving our Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity (IDE) initiatives through actionable goals. Brittany enjoys working on a variety of projects, experiencing how the many business units operate, and learning from the micro-cultures within the organization.
Known to be a passionate leader, Brittany supports her team by connecting them to mentors and development opportunities—she gets her energy from empowering people to reach for their goals and challenge themselves. Designing stormwater management systems based on historical data (and possibly forgotten climate events), or what likely will be experienced in the future is Brittany’s focus. She takes pride in stormwater designs that are seamlessly integrated into the built or natural environment.
Bravery, kindness, and action are some of Brittany’s values. In her spare time, she loves to grow microgreens, cook, sing, play music with her kids, and travel.
