Growing up on Prince Edward Island, Matt spent much of his time exploring beaches, tidal pools, ponds, and streams. Those early experiences sparked a lifelong interest in the environment and inspired a career in environmental consulting.
As a biologist with our Environmental Services team in Atlantic Canada, Matt helps clients navigate environmental assessments, permitting, and regulatory requirements for projects throughout the region. His experience includes marine and freshwater habitat assessments, fish community studies, sediment and tissue chemistry, and water quality.
Matt brings a practical and collaborative approach to environmental challenges. He works closely with clients, regulators, key parties, and internal teams to develop solutions that support project goals while managing environmental considerations. He values communicating complex technical information in clear, accessible ways and regularly supports clients in presenting their projects to the public.
Away from work, Matt enjoys exploring the outdoors with his family. Whether skiing, mountain biking, or spending a day at the beach, he remains connected to the landscapes and waterways that inspired his career.
