David specializes in the design, installation, testing, and start-up of instrumentation and controls (I&C) as well as electrical and process mechanical systems. His experience includes generating process and instrumentation diagrams, installation details, panel display elevations, graphic displays, and control architectural diagrams. He also uses various software packages to develop programmable logic controllers, distributed control systems, and human-machine interface programming.
As a senior I&C engineer, David splits duties between serving as a design lead on medium and large projects and conducting I&C quality reviews. He always tries to impart best practices and be a very transparent and effective communicator on his projects.
Outside of work, David is passionate about IndyCar and Formula 1 racing. He watches all of the races and goes to IndyCar events in person near Cleveland. He also enjoys visiting his daughters in Toledo, Columbus, and Louisville.
