Passionate about urban and ecological design, Jake uses visual graphics to clearly communicate ideas. He enjoys creating places that support health and well-being and strengthen how people experience their environment, focusing on solutions that combine creativity, functionality, and community benefit.
Jake is a landscape designer with a strong arts and design foundation that shapes his approach to creating community-focused places. He’s worked on projects involving urban mixed-use development, parks and recreation facilities, green infrastructure, stream restoration, waterfront improvements, educational spaces, streetscapes, corridors, and signage design.
When he's not helping transform ordinary places into purposeful spaces, Jake enjoys exploring with his wife and their golden retriever, golfing, and watching sports with friends. Originally from Iowa, he makes an effort to visit family and appreciate the simple joys of country life.
