Photo of David

David has over 16 years of engineering experience in municipal water and wastewater infrastructure. His expertise as a mechanical engineer includes all phases of treatment plant and pump station project lifecycle, from site assessment and planning to commissioning, start up, and operations. David is experienced in the field of water hydraulics design-analysis of both gravity and pressurized networks, and he also serves as a project technical lead—coordinating multidisciplinary design teams and managing and ensuring the quality of technical deliveries from design phase to construction documents.

In the wastewater sector, David provides process mechanical design services on preliminary, primary, and secondary treatments and disinfection, chemical storage, and odor control systems. He also provides hydraulic analysis, recently completing an overall plant hydraulics evaluation at Ashbridges Bay Treatment Plant (City of Toronto) and Robert W Hite Treatment Facility (City of Denver) for 800 and 470 million gallon per day capacity, respectively. He is currently working as a mechanical lead for the Army Corps of Engineers, designing pump stations with capacity up to 1,300 million gallon per day.

If you catch him outside of work, David is probably spending time with his wife and their young daughters. He loves being outdoors, practicing photography, and driving fast cars.
