Mike has two decades of experience in the engineering and consulting industry providing management, strategic planning, team leadership, process engineering, and construction support for a wide variety of projects serving the renewable fuel, bioprocess, chemical, food, and utility sectors. He has deep experience in project development, process development and optimization, critical path planning, and safety by design.
Project highlights include the management of multi-discipline engineering teams for multiple large-scale oilseed and specialty chemical facilities. Mike has a passion to utilize his capabilities to support Stantec’s growth of renewable energy and other green technology market sectors.
In addition to his engineering and client management work, Mike focuses on overall staff management, always working to integrate innovation into project execution to achieve the financial, performance, and quality objectives of clients. He’s responsible for ensuring his team members are engaged and that the right people are in the right roles—including attracting, growing, and retaining top talent.
