Mark is a civil engineer with 28 years of experience. As a project management professional, Mark ensures that all work scope, budget, and schedules are in alignment with each other and with his client’s goals. Identifying appropriate and available resources, engaging stakeholders, and providing timely communications are essential components of all he does. He’s committed to being responsive to clients, stakeholders, and team members, and he prioritizes keeping communications open and ongoing.
One of Mark’s current projects is the first phase of the US 278/SR 10 Streetscape and Pedestrian Improvements for the City of Avondale Estates, Georgia. This project is being administered by the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) through their Plan Development Process. The goal? Reduce traffic speeds and improve safety through the corridor while providing for larger gathering spaces and multimodal connectivity between the city’s business district and the MARTA rail station. One of the City’s goals is to spur economic development and diversity throughout the corridor, creating a place for its residents and visitors to gather and shop.
Outside of the office, Mark loves spending time with his wife and two daughters, as well as his dogs. He strives to be respectful, thoughtful, and to meet all people where they are—no judgement.
