James has more than three decades of architectural experience, over two of which he’s spent working on healthcare efforts. While healthcare has remained a central focus of his career, he has followed his passion for design across multiple market sectors, leading and managing commercial, hospitality, and other complex projects.
Throughout his career, James has served in a variety of leadership roles. Currently, he serves as our Dallas office leader, principal-in-charge, and project manager. He is responsible for guiding project delivery, supporting clients and teams, and helping support the successful execution of projects from planning through construction. He also serves as the primary sponsor of our local Quality Control Program and leads personnel coordination for projects throughout the Dallas office. Previously, in his three years as the operations leader, he helped guide the office's transition from a traditional horizontal market-sector structure to a hybrid model supported by subject matter experts across major practice areas in Dallas.
Outside of work, James enjoys training for triathlons and watching his kids grow into young adults, especially his daughter who just joined the workforce as an interior designer.
