Carmelle leads planning strategy, advising on planning risk, land value optimization, and delivery strategies. She has more than 15 years’ experience from both consultancy and developer-side roles, including over five years at an industrial logistics developer where she delivered 3.2 million square feet (297,290 square metres) of floorspace across 25 multi-unit industrial and logistics sites.
Specializing in industrial and logistics developments, Carmelle has a proven track record of securing complex, high value planning consents and shaping commercially driven strategies. She’s experienced in working with private sector developers and landowners on residential and employment-led developments, advising boards and investment partners, and managing politically sensitive sites. She also integrates environment, social, and governance goals into projects as well as sustainability considerations to unlock land value and drive development returns.
Outside of work, Carmelle is the co-chair of the Reading and District Netball League, having played and umpired in the league for more than 25 years.
