Kirstie uses her knowledge of flood risk, environmental sustainability, and environmental management policy to support the completion of flood risk assessments, environmental impact assessments, and hydrological analyses.
As a principal environmental scientist, Kirstie emphasizes the use of nature-based solutions for catchment water quality and quantity management. She has worked with a range of sectors, clients, and colleagues to deliver projects adopting a systems thinking approach to deliver innovative and sustainable outcomes. She is a chartered water and environmental manager with the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM).
Outside of work, you can often find Kirstie walking the South West Coast Path or on her allotment when the weather allows. Otherwise, she’ll likely be crafting.
