Dave began his career in roadway design, but once he got a taste of field work he never looked back. Thirty years as a construction manager and resident engineer proves it was the right decision. Dave likes to roll up his sleeves and work alongside owners, consultants, and users to build spaces that impact his community. From bridge replacements and cold recycle and overlays, to urban interstate reconstruction, he has managed projects of all sizes and levels of complexity.
Dave enjoys the comradery of working with a team to find the best solution to complex construction issues. As the resident engineer on the Reno Spaghetti Bowl project, he managed the team to rehabilitate all the concrete paving, sound wall installation, and retrofitting the bridges in the bowl area. It had a major impact on the Reno/Sparks community and gives Dave a sense of pride every time he drives through it.
In his free time, you’ll find Dave enjoying all that Lake Tahoe offers—hiking, biking, boating in the summer, or hitting the slopes in the winter.
