Engiell leads buildings engineering in Texas, including mechanical, electrical, structural and ICT (information communication and technology) services. As a licensed electrical engineer with an MBA focused on corporate finance, he’s particularly qualified to provide holistic design solutions that are sustainable, maintainable, and add long-term value to building owners.
One of Engiell’s most exciting projects was the Richard J. Lee Elementary School, a net-zero energy building with a roof-mounted 358-kilowatt photovoltaic system. The system offsets the building’s annual energy usage. Focused on innovative engineering technologies, Engiell is also a co-leader on one of our sustainability Research + Benchmarking groups.
If Engiell isn’t at work designing, leading, or exploring new possibilities, you might find him with his wife and their three daughters fly fishing on a local river. For him, one of the most exhilarating experiences is being in the natural environment, convincing a trout to take a fly on a fast-moving river.
