Joe’s main responsibility is to lead the Civil Networks team in the UK. The team’s core project work is focused on clean water, wastewater network design, and surface water management. The team also includes the specialist pipeline engineering group.
Since joining Stantec in 2008, Joe has undertaken civil engineering design roles with a variety of clients in the UK. His current client focus is on the successful technical delivery and leadership of projects and programmes across clean and wastewater networks.
Joe is a chartered engineer and a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers and Institution of Mechanical Engineers. His technical experience ranges from conceptual design through to detail design and support during the construction stage of projects. His expertise is in design management, technical governance and risk, and the leadership and development of people.
Outside of work Joe enjoys trail running, hill walking and climbing, and trips to the theatre or spending time with friends and family.
