Mario has 30 years’ experience in the transportation engineering field. A civil engineer by training, with particular specialization in bridges and civil engineering structures, he is renowned across the industry for his leading-edge expertise in this area.
During his career, he has directed and supervised hundreds of studies related to the design of new structures, as well as the inspection, assessment, maintenance, reinforcement, and replacement of numerous existing bridges and civil engineering structures throughout Quebec. Mario is backed by a versatile team of specialized professionals offering a complete range of engineering services for every stage of a bridge’s useful life. His team is involved right from the planning and design phase through construction works supervision, even taking part in inspection and assessment of the load-bearing capacity, for the sake of sound asset management.
Mario is actively involved in developing his profession. He has served as training manager for a Quebec Ministry of Transportation course on bridge structural inspection, and has sat on various technical committees for the drafting of the Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code.
