George has been with Stantec for 18 years—he started as a resident engineer in Water and Community Development, with projects including linear infrastructure, wastewater treatment plant construction, surface works and grading operations, survey, design, and finally, project management.
As a recipient of the Regina & Region Home Builders’ Association’s 2014 Member of Distinction award as well as an Award of Honour, George has been locally recognized for his outstanding contributions and accomplishments by the association.
On his off hours, George spends his time with family helping get two daughters to music and dance. For himself, George plays guitar and enjoys live music and gardening. He also recently completed a level one certification in beekeeping. His father has a small apiary, and George is looking forward to learning the ropes and becoming a recreational beekeeper.
