Since joining Stantec in 2006, Darlene has helped build everything from labs for subatomic physics research to mail processing facilities. Her architectural background gives her insight into the construction process and materials, while various projects have developed her procurement, risk mitigation, and stakeholder management skills.
All of this has taught Darlene that sound relationships are just as important as sound construction when it comes to buildings. Construction, like a community, requires strong bonds. Bringing a creative vision to life within the limits of a schedule and budget takes imagination and teamwork. Darlene enjoys experiencing this both with Stantec and its clients.
When not savoring the challenges offered by each unique project, Darlene enjoys climbing mountains, attending festivals, and spending time with her family.
