Whether he’s working from California, Argentina, or the UAE, Octavio’s mission is to bring optimized processes and innovation to his global energy clients. A key player in our Energy business line, his background in oil and gas engineering, project management, and new businesses implementation gives his clients an advantage when determining the next step in their energy diversification journey.
Octavio believes we need to accelerate the incorporation of low- or no-carbon energy and continue progressing in clean fuels technology to facilitate a smooth energy transition, while at the same time maintaining the production and utilization of traditional hydrocarbon fuels (including carbon capture) to avoid disruption in energy supply to our communities. Teaming with clients, equipment suppliers, and Stantec project team is the part of his job Octavio loves most—helping optimize processes and cost, and making the projects safe, resilient, reliable, and economically sound.
Outside of work, Octavio likes to travel and spend time knowing more about the world. Whenever he gets the chance, he loves to spend time with friends and his three kids: with one in Madrid, one in London, and one in Los Angeles, Octavio is no stranger to airplanes.
