Rosario has 25+ years of experience in key positions in the environmental field, performing studies, assessments and audits for projects in mining, energy, industrial, real estate development and infrastructure in both the public and private sectors. In the public sphere, she has served on teams in charge of environmental impact assessments and declarations, with a primary focus on the treatment of socioeconomic issues. In the private sphere, she has performed environmental assessments at the prefeasibility quality level for toll highway concession projects, infrastructure, petrochemicals, energy and mining in all Chilean administrative regions. She has been a permanent staff member of prestigious consulting companies, where, in addition to performing studies in her own discipline both in Chile and abroad, she has led and coordinated multidisciplinary teams on the execution of environmental projects of large complexity. After joining the company, she has participated in several projects involving mining projects in Chile, Argentina and Peru for BHP Billiton, Freeport, Coeur d’Alene, Anglo American, Barrick and Teck.
