With nearly a decade of experience in cryogenics, hydrogen, and compressed natural gas refueling, Joe is focused on sustainable solutions. He has designed various cryogenic and gaseous distribution systems used in aerospace, manufacturing, and food processing, and is currently focused on designing hydrogen fueling stations for light and heavy duty vehicles.
Passionate about reducing our impact on climate change, Joe has worked on projects around the world. Earlier in his career, he designed and commissioned control systems used in decoking at oil refineries including Chevron, Tupras (Türkiye), Petron (Philippines), Sinopec (China), and Suncor (Canada). Having spent weeks at a time at oil refineries and seeing the environment and impact of fossil fuel-based processes to the climate and health, Joe shifted his career toward cleaner technology. He’s worked for Air Products, Flowserve, Clean Energy Fuels, and FirstElement Fuel, reflecting his interest in alternative energy.
When he’s not developing solutions for a greener future, Joe is focused on being a great dad and loves to travel.
