With a sharp eye for efficiency, functionality, and safety, Miguel supports the design of operational facilities. Focusing on how a facility will be used day-to-day, he works on a range of industrial and infrastructure projects. These include maintenance and repair facilities, logistics and warehousing operations, transit facilities, manufacturing, and institutional spaces. He considers operational needs in design, such as equipment layouts, material handling systems, and workflow optimization.
Working closely with clients and other invested parties, Miguel prioritizes operational requirements and translates them into practical design solutions. He contributes to facility planning, procurement documents for industrial equipment, and coordination across teams to align design with operational needs. He also supports data-driven tools, including discrete event simulation (DES), to analyze and visualize system performance.
In his free time, Miguel enjoys spending time outdoors, watching sports, and hanging out with friends and his puppy.
