Passionate about bettering the lives of communities around the world, Kiersten’s advocacy for water rights extends beyond the work she does at Stantec. She donates through various water-related charities, focusing on improving water wells in communities that don’t have access to safe drinking water.
At work, however, Kiersten’s favorite projects have been wastewater infrastructure feasibility studies for small communities in southern Arizona. She also works as a project manager, most recently with Engineers without Borders, Southern Arizona Professionals Chapter, on a water supply well and pump improvements project in Mexico.
Bringing this passion to her work in Tucson, Kiersten’s a leader with more than a decade of experience working on public and private water and wastewater engineering projects. She’s worked on designs for all kinds of infrastructure including gravity sewers, sewer pump stations, force mains, transmission mains, and well sites. Always providing proactive project management and leadership, Kiersten knows planning and monitoring are key to successful project delivery.
